Her first video was recorded training session with a professional after having read the script. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team were surprised with how well she did in her initial lesson. Her prior films were located in Australia. The Outpost was her first big role in America. The character is based on Jessica's passion for action by utilizing her mixed martial arts, horse riding weapons, as well as athletic abilities enabling her to perform actions and fully embody the strong female character. Jessica is a boxer who has been trained, muay Thai and a mixed martial artist. Jake Stormoen saw an animal roaming the filming set of Season 4 while on set.
